Sound Isolation on these is not great, they allow in a lot of outside noise. The noise cancelation for airplane, road noise, wind or fan type noise is great but seems to amplify other noises due to removal other sounds and not having good noise isolation. I have found that bad noise isolation and sound leakage go hand in hand when it comes to any headphone. If you can hear people around you speaking fairly clearly while wearing headphones then they can hear your music if they are within 5-10 feet without a lot of ambient noise when your volume is over 50% and above. I will say for around $40 the sound quality is fantastic when the small built in amplification feature is working when the noise cancelation is turned on. They also feature great noise cancelation for traveling or in areas where you want to block out everything except for anything in the frequency range of peoples chatter. They are ideal for a office where you want to block out fan noise but yet still hear your coworkers speak or your phone ring or on a airplane. If you have a lot more money to spend on the best for ANC and sound quality, go for the Bose QC20i for earbuds, the Bose QC25 for corded over ear. If you want the best wireless ANC headphones check out the new Sennheiser Momentum line (They call the ANC "NoiseGard") and next, in spite of no spare batteries and a run time of 5-6 hours in between charges the Parrot Zik 2.0 is the best for ANC. With the Parrot Zik 2.0, when the battery dies just have on hand 4-5 foot micro USB cord, large Anker portable battery pack and a Fiio headphone AMP. If you want the most feature rich ANC wireless without the best ANC then you will want to consider the Plantronics Backbeat pro and is far less money than the Bose, Parrot and Sennheiser. Lastly if you like to crank your music up a bit and don't really need ANC or the best noise isolation? My two cents opinion is the best affordable setup you can get is any of the on ear or over ear (especially the over ear) V-Moda headphones paired with a upper level Fiio Amp/DAC. If you get a good deal this setup it will cost around $150 or less and will last forever... Hey V-Moda! more standard memory foam in the headband and earcups will make your headphones perfection, and come out with your own wireless ANC and you will have even more fans :-)Vollständige Rezension lesen
The set has a bunch of ear tips but the one that blocks best may the a little different sensation and not that comfortable for some. The noise canceling is good enough... comparing my over the ear headphones Sony MDR-7560 or Audio Technica's M50X I can hear less noise with these; these need some equalizer changes to make them shine. I got them for a great price ($29) so I am happy.

Over all quality of the product is fine, and the added ear buds are a great addition, but I bought these headphones due to it's active noise canceling feature, which is not so powerful. It does remove some background noise, but most of it find it's way right into your ear. With in flight experience, it only slightly improves your peace and quiet. Having said that, the price of the headphones is considerably lower than it's high-end siblings...

Don't get me wrong - these are good earbuds. Just don't be misled by the marketing. These headphones will NOT block out 90% of sound. They WILL block out 90% or more of AMBIENT sound. I bought these hoping to get some quiet in the midst of a large family. Turns out, the earbuds are designed to block out low, ambient noise, not high or mid noise. It will ERASE refrigerator hum, car noise, any low humming droning. It doesn't do much of anything to voices, music, clacking, beeping, or anything above a low pitch. Seems that people who like it most use it on commutes or on airplanes. That's great! Just be aware that it will NOT block out speech, music, etc. The earbuds are also large around the tips. They may be painful for small ears. The little battery box isn't that heavy, but can be a pain to work around.Vollständige Rezension lesen

They work well and they're comfortable. The noise canceling feature works very good considering it's not an "over the ear" type headphone. The battery seems last a long time and overall I'm pleased with them. Jim in Nashville
